Now Out – The Golden Key

My debut English language novel, The Golden Key, is now officially out with Titan Books. I feel very privileged to be working with Titan, a publisher I have admired from afar for a long time. Huge thanks to my editor, Sophie Robinson, who has helped so much making this novel something special. Below, something I would have never imagined when I was growing up in the South of Spain: my debut novel advertised in the London Underground!

The Golden Key is envisioned as a stand-alone novel, but it is also part of a series I am working on right now, featuring British-Spanish female detective Helena Walton-Cisneros. All the novels have a marked literary scent (the golden key of the title refers to a famous Victorian fairy tale writer…) together with an environmental component or sub-plot. Yes, I am still keen in talking about nature, landscape, our planet, in my fiction. This is a very different book from Lost Objects, but, as some reviews have already noted, these themes remain.

I hope you join me in welcoming Helena to the wider world, following the Blog Tour that has been set up by the amazing team at Titan. And that you would want to hear again from her in future books!
